Someone once did an illustration of two cans of coke, one poured slowly into a glass and the other quickly. The quicker one’s fizzier, but after 1 minute the slower poured glass had more coke in.
Why am I telling you this? Sometimes when people enter a room we know they have arrived because of volume, entrance and charisma, but after a while they fade away. While others enter a room and may not make such a big impact but they stick around.
We only really find out someone’s character after the fizz or charisma has died down. Charisma is not the opposite of character and you can have both,
but godly character always trumps charisma

on the queen's CHARACTER & SERVICE
A life of faithfulness and service
Young people may or may not be that interested in the royal family or lovers of the Monarchy, so together with our wonderful partners,
we have sought to see what the character values of our Queen are and how they are rooted in Jesus and relevant to this generation.
From wellbeing to environmental concern, social justice to being a good neighbour, there are a bunch of great sessions for youth groups, schools and unformed groups to use in the build up to the big celebration weekend in June.

Youth Evangelism Conference changes
Sadly, we will no longer be able to run our live in person events for YEC this year. But we are passionate about evangelism, young people and gathering together to share the highs and lows of ministry, so
we will instead be running a FREE online conference with a shortened programme
with BRAND NEW sessions from across our 3 locations. Running on Saturday 5th of March from 9.30am-1.30pm and available on The YECUK YouTube channel at https://theyec.uk. Share and tag us at your watch parties!
